Nothing worse than waking up in the morning and finding a print has failed.
One cause of print failure is underestimating the amount of filament left and running out during a print.
Another rather annoying cause? Filament that is tangled and jams, or the filament breaks while printing.
The resolution? Get yourself the BIGTREETECH Smart Filament Sensor!
The BTT Smart Filament Sensor can detect both filament runout as well as filament jams. Install the sensor outside the extruder so the filament feeds through the sensor before the extruder.
I strongly suggest watching Teaching Tech's video below for the install and configuration process for the BTT Smart Filament Sensor. It is by far the easiest and best to follow.
